| The Auto Craft Center is located in Bldg. 1902, Headhunter Street and 2nd Avenue. The Auto Craft Center has the equipment you need to save money on do it yourself car maintenance and repair. At the Auto Craft Center, you have access to on site trained instruction, assistance, tools and equipment. We also offer Mitchell-On-Demand information software to access “how-to” information. This 24 bay facility has twelve lifts, eight bays (non-lift) inside the building, and five sheltered bays outside of the main building. We also have a paint booth and a body bay. The self-help car wash located at the center has three wash bays, one shampooer/vacuum, two other vacuums (one of which has a fragrance machine) and three vending machines. | The Equestrian Center is located in Bldg. 20090, adjacent to the Silver Wings Golf Course, on Hatch Road. The Fort Rucker Equestrian Center is one of the finest of its kind in the Army. The facility is surrounded by more that 10,000 acres of wooded trails. The facility has 36 duplex stalls each with Tack room and Paddocks, 82 stalls for transient and show horses and two community pastures. Programs offered by the Equestrian Center include Youth Summer Camps, Riding Lessons, Pony Parties, Open Horse Shows and Horse Trials. |

| Lake Tholocco |
|
| Fort Rucker and the surrounding communities are encouraged to visit Lake Tholocco, a 640-acre facility that offers a full range of recreational activities. You can take your pick from swimming, boating, camping, RV parking, volleyball, skiing, hiking and fishing. Pavilion and beaches are available for all to use. Boating activities are available year round. The swimming program along with the snack bar located on West Beach is operational beginning the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day each year from 1100 – 1800. Patrons may use the two waterslides and three trampolines or just swim in the beach area. Life jackets are available. Swimming without lifeguards is not allowed. Patrons may also use our eight recreational cottages located on East Beach. In January 2008, we will have twelve brand new cabins located on West Beach – Singing Pines available for public rental. | The Physical Fitness Centers consist of two facilities dedicated to meeting all of your physical fitness needs. The Andrews Avenue Physical Fitness Center and the Fortenberry-Colton Fitness Center offer a full range of activities. With free weights, universal machines, speed and punching bags, a rock climbing wall, basketball courts, racquetball and squash courts, an indoor pool, a steam room and sauna, and a variety of themed runs and fitness classes, you can surely find a fun activity to help keep you at your best physically. |

| The Fortenberry-Colton Fitness Center is located in Bldg. 5900 on the corner of Skychief Street and 5th Avenue. It is a 27k square foot modern facility with a fitness room that offers top of the line Life Fitness Cardiovascular equipment, Strive Selectorized Strength equipment, and Life Fitness free weights. A group fitness room, a regulation basketball court with 2 practice basketball courts and 2 volleyball courts. The group fitness room and basketball court have hard wood and impact resistant floors. This facility also offers Fitlinxx, a web based, computerized personal training/tracking system, a 28 foot climbing wall and a nutrition bar. |
