Airman Leadership School
The USAF Airman Leadership School prepares senior airman for supervisory and rating official duties in the world’s best aerospace fighting force. The 192 hour course, over 24 academic days, is divided into three major curriculum areas that support the course objective: communications, leadership and professions of arms. Graduation from ALS is a prerequisite for promotion to staff sergeant. Air Force Instruction, AFI 36-2301 – Professional Military Education, and ALS Procedural Guidance establishes Air Force policy and command responsibilities for Professional Military Education.

Company Grade Officers Council
The CGOC promotes the professional development of company grade officers by increasing the availability of opportunities for enhanced career and personal development. The organization functions as a catalyst to enhance effectiveness and communication among company grade

AFCOMAP
The Air Force Cadet Officer Mentor Action Program is a non-profit service organization that is nationally chartered and endorsed by Air Force headquarters. The membership is primarily comprised of active-duty and retired officers who serve in all force components, as well as officer candidates. Membership is also available to officers from the other armed services, civilians, and non-commissioned officers.
AFCOMAP is committed to promoting the professional development of Air Force junior officers, as well as assisting Air Force Academy and ROTC cadets with their transition into active-duty service. As the motto states, “Strengthening Future Air Force Leaders through Mentorship,” AFCOMAP continues to provide the leadership to make a positive difference.
Emerald Coast Toastmasters Club 1919
The mission of the Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking
– vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential, fosters human understanding and contribute to the betterment of mankind. Top Three
TThe Top Three Association, represents all senior non-commissioned officers on active-duty in any branch of the Armed Forces, Reserve, or Air National Guard, assigned to Eglin. The Top Three Association is a dynamic, proactive, and visible organization that represents many goals and objectives but its primary objective is to enhance the military professionalism, development, and quality of life for all enlisted personnel and their families assigned to Eglin active duty or retired.
The Top Three Association sponsors many programs and initiatives advancing the cause of enlisted people and their families as well as the challenging issues facing the enlisted Air Force today.

The general membership meetings are conducted on the third Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. in the Top 3 Lounge of the Eglin Enlisted Club. The club is located in Building 860.
Leadership & Professional Development Seminar


The LPDS is a 5 day seminar sponsored by the Top 3 Association. It is designed to provide professional, but relaxed, environment conducive to learning and interaction. The seminar provides students with new and sharpened tools to help them each be a better supervisor, manager, leader and follower.
Non-Commissioned Officers Association
The Non-Commissioned Officers Association was established in 1960 to enhance and maintain the quality of life for non-commissioned and petty officers in all branches of the Armed Forces, National Guard and Reserves. The association offers
