Eglin’s lodging facilities are consistent lodging award winners. There is a 24-hour reception center located at the east end of the base near the Bowling Center. The Inns provide a wide variety of quarters available for use of active and retired military members, and Department of Defense civilians.

| There are 171 Visiting Officer’s Quarters units, 151 Visiting Airman’s Quarters units, and 88 one, two, and three-bedroom Temporary Lodging Facility units. “Space available” customers may make reservations in advance of their arrival by calling the reservation desk. |

The Inns provide many creature comforts such as FAX, valet service, express checkout, courtesy calls, and fitness rooms. Rooms are equipped with hair dryers, color TV’s with premium cable channels, VCR’s, microwave ovens, telephones with data link capabilities, and club coupons and sundry items.

| Lodging boasts numerous Gold Key and Innkeeper Awards, and was awarded the Gold Award for Excellence in Training from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association. |
| Space permitting, inbound members can reserve temporary living quarters for up to 30 days. Ten Temporary Lodging Facility units are reserved for patrons with pets. There are also several kennels in the local area. |

Housing |

| The housing office assists with on- and off-base housing needs. Unaccompanied members will need to contact their orderly room for specific housing information. |
| Whether personnel are looking for on-base housing or planning to live in the local community, they’ll need to stop by the Family Housing Office located at 37 Hatchee Road in the housing area. The office is open from 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and can be reached by phone at 882-4533 or 882-3502. Quarters for 260 officers and 2,097 enlisted families in four housing areas are available on a first come basis within grade categories. |
